What a bodyweight is good for
No equipment, no excuse, no travel. Bodyweight work is built on movements your body was arranged to do — pushing, pulling, squatting, bracing — and it scales by changing leverage rather than by adding plates: elevate your feet, slow the lowering, pause at the bottom.
Pulling is the gap. Almost everything else has a bodyweight answer, but rows and pull-ups need something to hang from, so a doorway bar or a band is worth the little it costs.
