How to do it
- Hold very light dumbbells at your sides with a slight forward lean.
- Raise the arms out and all the way overhead until the dumbbells nearly touch.
- Lower under complete control along the same path.
Cues that matter
- This is a high-rep, very light movement. Ego lifting ruins it.
- Keep the elbows locked out the entire time.
Common mistakes
- Using any weight heavy enough to require momentum.
- Rushing the overhead portion.
